The Cue Collector - Burroughes & Watts' Billiards and Snooker Teasers Explained
Billiards and Snooker Teasers Explained, 11th Edition, 1953-1954

This is the eleventh edition of the Burroughes & Watts' Billiards and Snooker Teasers Explained. It was published in late 1953, with a circulation of around 325,000 copies.  It covers the period 1953-1954.

The "named" cues offered for sale comprise: the Mascot; the Burwat Champion; the Eureka; the Mannock; and Ye Olde Ash.  Notably, the Sidney Smith is no longer mentioned in the text although it appears in the picture of the cues, between the Mascot and the Burwat Champion.

Another point of interest is the picture of the Mascot (number 5).  It has a square badge, indicating that it is the later edition of the Mascot.  The earlier editions had a small round badge.

The booklet continues to carry the warning that prompt deliveries cannot be guaranteed.
