The cue was manufactured after 1900 because "Alcock & Co Pty Ltd" was incorporated some time after 1900. Prior to 1901, Alcocks traded as Alcock & Co.
The cue was manufactured before 1 January 1930 because, on that date, Alcock's amalgamated with Thompson & Taylor, to become Alcock, Thomson and Taylor Pty Ltd.
It is most likely that this particular cue was manufactured in the period from 1901-1914.
