This is a Tom Newman 1370 Facsimile Cue.  It has an ash shaft hand-spliced onto an ebony butt with a paduke frontsplice.
 
This cue commemorates Tom Newman's third world record billiards break.

The break was made during November 1924 in a match against Willie Smith at Burroughes Hall in London.

This break exceeded Tom Newman's own previous world record of 1274, made in December 1922.

Tom Newman's highest break was 1827, made against Walter Lindrum in March 1931.

This cue is likely to have been manufactured by Peradon & Co in the period from 1924-1930.
